What is STORIO

Storio is a web-based AI-assisted storytelling platform built for authors, game creators, and visual novel fans who want to turn their story ideas into interactive, multimedia experiences instantly. 

Inspired by modern tools but simplified for creative flow, Storio empowers writers to design branching narratives, add or generate character visuals and audios, and collaborate with AI to brainstorm, rewrite, or expand plotlines.

Unlike traditional engines that require deep coding knowledge, Storio combines AI-driven creation tools with a no-code-friendly web editor that everyone can easily use, so you can focus on storytelling instead of syntax. Want to add conditional choices? Import your old manuscript? Insert dialogue-driven sound effects? Build a stat-based relationship system? Is this for non-technical creators?

Yes. If you can use Google Docs and click buttons, you can use Storio.

Is this an AI writer? 

Not exactly. Think of it as an AI co-creator. You stay in control, but we give you tools to speed up the heavy lifting (dialogue polishing, scene setup, etc).

What format does it export to?  

Right now, stories are playable directly on our platform and can be instantly played by others

Why did you make this?

We love interactive story since teenage time! But we are also busy adults who don't have a ton of time for creation. So we invented this tool to make creation easy, fast. The fun of imagination still belongs to the creator. Writers and independent game makers deserve better tools.
